# This week in Nu #69

- xolve added [`math abs` command](https://github.com/nushell/nushell/pull/2789)
- jonathandturner released [0.24.0](https://github.com/nushell/nushell/pull/2791) and [0.24.1](https://github.com/nushell/nushell/pull/2792)
- jonathandturner also landed the [big PR](https://github.com/nushell/nushell/pull/2795). This enables variables, custom commands, scopes, full scripting, and more. We'll be working on fixing issues ahead of the next release. If you're interested, please help us by testing it out before the release.
