This section details new features and improvements in Docker Engine 18.09. New features include a `docker engine` subcommand, exposing product license/daemon warnings in `docker info`, "local" log driver, Amazon CloudWatch logging, global default address pools, containerd log-level/cri-containerd configuration, & containerd client updates. `POST /session` endpoint is now out of experimental. Improvements: cleaner /info output, BuildKit progress & variable settings, flag visibility control, better version output, sorted plugin names/networks, completion script updates, log-level propagation to containerd, DSR in overlay load balancing, temporary bridge networking disable in BuildKit, task blocking until attachments are ready, CA certificate propagation, and removal of Ubuntu 14.04 & Debian 8 support. 'docker-' prefix removed from containerd/runc binaries.
