Docker Desktop Community releases 2.1.0.1 and 2.1.0.0 include upgrades to Docker, Kubernetes, Go, Docker Machine, Docker Compose, LinuxKit, Kitematic, Qemu, Alpine, and Docker Credential Helpers. Version 2.1.0.0 introduces experimental features like Docker App and Docker Buildx. It also includes new features such as a configurable user timeout for VMs, checking for stored credentials at startup, and the option to enable experimental features via the settings menu. Several bug fixes address issues with PowerShell script signing, Docker Desktop startup after upgrade, upgrade failures, installer hanging, VM lifecycle error messages, Windows crashes during UAC settings changes, Kubernetes installation with VPNkit subnet, and Docker Desktop restarts after user logout/login. Other fixes include restrictions to the `cluster-admin` role on the local Kubernetes cluster and reduced VM startup time.
